TEPCO Renewable Energy (TRE), our group renewable subsidiary, operates a 1 MW peak rooftop solar plant delivering approximately 1,797 MWh annually to the Egyptian grid. The investment signals the group's commitment to renewable infrastructure beyond marketing claims.
Environmental register
The Madinah facility operates on lean production principles: minimizing waste, optimizing material flow, and reducing energy consumption per unit produced. CNC sheet-metal forming reduces scrap; automated busbar processing reduces material waste; partial process automation reduces labor and energy intensity.

The smart grid product line, IEC 61850 substation automation, smart RMUs, and BlokSeT smart panels, directly enables grid efficiency improvements. BlokSeT smart panels enable up to 30% energy savings for end users; smart RMUs reduce grid losses through automated fault detection and isolation.

TEPCO's product line and operations contribute to these targets through smart-grid enablement, renewable energy infrastructure manufacturing, and locally-produced equipment that reduces import dependence.
